The first fixture in this seasons X Country was up in Cramlington Nature Reserve and hosted by Blyth running club. The Men`s team managed to get 7 runners out, the woman 3 runners including debutant Stacey Abbot and the lads who moved up to the U17`s category had 2 runners out. Dry conditions underfoot and drizzle in the face made for good conditions around the fast undulating course at East Cramlington, however don`t be fooled by the mild conditions it will get worse as the season goes on !

UNDER 17 JUNIOR MEN – CRAMILINGTON
—————————————————
Isaac Dunn and Jordan Bell were this year running in the Under 17 Junior Mens division and from what I seen did not look out of place one bit and enjoyed their race. They were neck and neck most of the way round with Jordan just piping Isaac at the finish, I think. I have not got the confirmed results but understand they came 8th and 9th respectively, well done lads.
Next harrier fixture is at Farringdon near Sunderland on Saturday 29th October 2011.
