Northern Cross Country Championships – Tatton Park, Manchester
A couple of athletes travelled down to near the most southerly and westerly location in the North of England, where a flat and very dry course greeted the contingent upon their arrival at Tatton Park. Very much not in keeping with the strengths of anyone who lives in Consett. However, some good results came out of the unfavourable course, showing promise for the rest of the cross-country season.

Druridge Bay Half Marathon
The recent storm had not affected this sea front half marathon. Three from the club raced, all giving good efforts on this tricky multi terrain course. The club managed to celebrate a win with Ash coming home just 3 minutes ahead of second place for his maiden victory for the club.
