Weekend Round up 23/2/25 

National Cross Country – Parliament Hill, London 

A journey to the capital was in store for a couple of the club to compete in the national cross country and their “reward” was by far and away the muddiest cross country of the season with pace being irrelevant and finishing on two feet and uninjured probably being a sufficient achievement.

3 Bounders took a seaside visit for the challenging Coastal marathon from Alnwick to Bamburgh via Alnmouth

Derwent Reservoir 5 + 10 Miler  

A large contingent made the short trip to the reservoir for the annual 5 and 10 miler hosted by wild deer. The weather being less than ideal (sideways rain) however some good results come back in return

Old Monks Trail Race  

Final race of the weekend was Monika’s little adventure for Hartlepool Road runners hosted Old Monks Trail Race with a 1st Vet placing being celebrated
