Race date: Wednesday 14th May 2025, 7pm start
Race HQ: Blackhill Comrades Club, Ridley St, Blackhill, Consett DH8 8TT,
Race start and finish: Fawcett Park “Former Steelworks site”
Distance: 2.1 mile
Teams: 3 per team (must have one male and female in a team)
Entry Fee: £18 per team
On the Night
Parking: Limited Parking is available at the race HQ.
Please Car share where at all possible and park considerately with residents in mind
Registration: Open from 6pm at the race HQ
Presentation: approximately at 8:30pm ( first 3 teams, Fastest male and female leg) at the Race HQ.
The bar will be open throughout the event for any refreshments
Pies: as normal all runners will receive an award winning Pitman Pie (anyone who requires a vegetarian pie please contact your team manager so we can inform the pie people) .
Results: Results will be published on the website as soon as possible after the race (Hopefully the day after)
Finally, yes the hill is as steep and as long as you remember
