Summer – Blackfyne Track,

Winter – Consett Park

Tuesday 

(Meeting at the war memorial next to Consett Leisure Centre.)

18:00 – Shorter Interval Training Session –This session is open to all abilities whom are looking to improve their speed and endurance using short duration efforts ( E.G 12 x 1min,) . Using Blackfyne Track in summer and Hownsgill Estate in winter.

18:00 – Club Run –  A fun and sociable run that varies between 3-6 miles, groups split according to numbers and ability.

If you’re just thinking of joining us, this is the session we recommend you attend first.

Thursday

(Meeting at the war memorial next to Consett Leisure Centre.)

18:00 – Longer Interval Training Session – Similar to a Tuesday this session is open to all abilities. Using the Medomsley Loop with longer duration efforts (E.G 3 x 8mins, 30 min pace run etc.)

18:00 – Club Run –  Runs vary between 3-6 miles, groups split according to numbers and ability.

In addition to club training members also organise regular social runs among themselves.

Sunday

Many runners in the club organise a Sunday morning long run (10 + miles). Meeting places, times and distances vary so keep an eye on our Facebook page for details of these informal runs.
